Privacy Policy
Last updated: octobre 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Sophia Limo (TC Sophia Transportation) (“Sophia Limo,” “we,” “us” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit sophia-limocarservice.com (the “Website”), request a reservation, or contact us by phone, email or text message.
By using the Website or our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you request a reservation or contact us, we collect the information you choose to provide, which may include:
- Contact details — first and last name, email address and mobile phone number.
- Passenger details — if you book for someone else, the passenger’s name and phone number. Please make sure you have their permission to share this information with us.
- Trip details — service type, pickup and drop-off addresses, airport or train station, airline, flight or train number, dates and times, number of passengers and pieces of luggage, and the vehicle you select.
- Special requests — child seat needs, meet-and-greet preferences and any notes you add (for example, accessibility needs). Please share only what is useful for your ride.
- Communications — the content of emails, calls and text messages you exchange with us.
Payment information
The Website does not collect payment card numbers. When you pay for a ride, your payment is handled by our payment processor, which processes your card details under its own privacy and security standards. Please never send full card numbers by email or text message.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting servers automatically record basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type and the pages you view. To protect our booking form against spam and abuse, we temporarily keep a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address for up to one hour.
2. Cookies
The Website does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. WordPress, the software that runs the Website, may set strictly necessary cookies for our staff when they log in. The embedded Google Map in our contact section is provided by Google, which may set its own cookies when the map loads (see section 6). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.
3. How we use your information
We use your personal information to:
- prepare quotes, confirm and manage your reservations;
- arrange your ride, including tracking flight and train arrivals so your chauffeur is on time;
- contact you by email, phone or text message about your reservation;
- process payments and keep business, accounting and tax records;
- answer your questions and provide customer service;
- keep our Website, passengers and chauffeurs safe and prevent fraud, spam and misuse;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We do not use your personal information to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
4. Text messages (SMS)
When you request a reservation, you agree that we may contact you by text message about that reservation — for example, booking confirmations, chauffeur and pickup details, schedule changes and reminders. We do not send marketing text messages.
- Message frequency varies depending on your reservations.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving text messages, or HELP for help. You can also call us at +1 (202) 415-1539.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of sharing described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
5. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share it only as needed to provide our services:
- Chauffeurs and transportation partners — the chauffeur assigned to your ride and, when a trip is operated by a trusted partner company (for example, for large groups or coaches), that partner, so they can carry out your ride.
- Service providers — companies that help us run our business, such as our website hosting provider, our email provider (Google), our payment processor and our messaging provider. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Legal and safety reasons — when required by law, court order or government request, or when needed to protect the rights, property or safety of our passengers, chauffeurs, the public or Sophia Limo.
- Business transfers — if our business is sold or merged, personal information may be transferred to the new owner, who will remain bound by this policy.
6. Third-party services on our Website
Some features of the Website are provided by third parties:
- Google Maps — the map in our contact section is loaded from Google, which receives your IP address and may set cookies.
- Google Fonts — the typefaces of the Website are loaded from Google’s servers, which receive your IP address in order to deliver them.
- Email — emails sent from the Website and our replies are delivered through Google’s email services.
Google’s use of this information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. The Website may also link to other websites; we are not responsible for their privacy practices.
7. How long we keep your information
We keep reservation requests and related records for as long as we need them to provide our services, maintain our business records, meet legal, tax and accounting requirements, and resolve disputes. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous. Spam-protection data (the hashed IP address) is deleted automatically after one hour.
8. How we protect your information
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your personal information. Access to reservation requests on the Website is limited to authorized administrators, and the booking form includes protections against automated abuse. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your choices and rights
You may ask us to:
- confirm whether we process your personal information and give you a copy of it;
- correct inaccurate information;
- delete your personal information, unless we must keep it for legal or business-record reasons;
- stop contacting you by email, phone or text message (reply STOP to any text message).
To make a request, email us at contact.sophialimo@gmail.com or call +1 (202) 415-1539. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and we aim to respond within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights. If we decline your request, you may ask us to reconsider by replying to our response. Virginia residents who remain unsatisfied may contact the Office of the Attorney General of Virginia. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable state law.
Because we do not track visitors across websites for advertising, we do not change our practices in response to “Do Not Track” browser signals.
10. Children
The Website and our booking services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Website. Rides for minors must be booked by a parent, guardian or other responsible adult. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. If we make significant changes, we may also notify you by other means.
12. Contact us
